Featured Volunteer Opportunities
Community Meal Volunteers: Make a home-cooked meal for residents with friends, family or community group. Stay and enjoy the meal with residents, or drop the meal off for them to heat-and-eat on their own.
Front Office Volunteers: Connect women in the community with much needed resources, both at Jubilee and at other community organizations. Our friendly office volunteers are the first point of contact for people calling Jubilee about housing assistance, donating and getting involved at Jubilee. Help 2-4 hours per week on weekdays.
Boutique Volunteers: Sort and organize donated clothing or help a boutique customer shop for free clothing during open hours. Last year, volunteers helped make it possible for 700 women to access free clothing!
Donation Drive: Coordinate a drive for wish list items for Jubilee women. Involve your co-workers, friends, family or community group. Popular items include grocery store gift cards, bus tickets, or clothing and accessories for our free boutique.
Event Volunteers: Help plan, implement and procure auction items for our fall and spring events, which raise nearly one-third of Jubilee’s annual operating budget. You can also help on the day of the event with set-up, clean-up, or greeting guests.
Host a Party: Raise awareness for Jubilee’s mission and programs while having fun with your friends. Learn more here about how you can weave Jubilee into your next get-together.
Gardening & Yard Work Volunteers: Maintain our vegetable and ornamental gardens as a welcoming oasis for residents.
Mailing Volunteers: Keep Jubilee’s program running by preparing appeal letters, event invitations and newsletters to mail so we can keep in touch with our supporters. Your help saves us thousands of dollars a year because we can send mail through the bulk mail system.
Welcome New Residents: Clean and prepare bedrooms for new residents moving into Jubilee to make them feel welcome in their new home.
