Long term transitional housing program for single and single pregnant women. Our mission is helping single and single pregnant women in crisis become confident, independent and self-sufficient. We provide comprehensive supportive services, transitional housing and the necessary skills to prevent and break the cycle of homelessness.
The women we serve have nowhere to live for a variety of reasons. Underemployment, unemployment, bad credit, substance abuse, domestic violence, and being unable to work while pregnant are just a few.
When an individual has no safe place to sleep, shower and eat, it is almost impossible to move forward with their life. Barrett provides the first step in transition by providing a safe, supervised and stable environment. Along with a stable environment, Barrett's staff will connect women with the necessary supportive services to get back on their feet.
