   Dirty and dangerous. A complete trap. The meals are fair and the staff is friendly but the offer no aid other than food and a place to sleep. Your not allowed on the property during the day so your forced to walk the streets in a town where you are unwanted and subject to arrest for vagrancy.

   Most of the staff are discompationate at best. The dorms have the stench of urine. The food is of excessively low quality. You are woken at 5:30 A.M, they feed you at 7:A. M, and then kick you out till 5P. M for dinner, then out again till 6P.M. You are not allowed to be on the property during those hours, and are forced to roam the streets, no-matter the weather, or temperature. The housed are a mix of people simply down o their luck, to travelers, to criminals, people fresh out of prisons, to people who should be on full time mental care monitoring. But at least it's a place to rest for the night, and get some modicum of sustainance.

   My experience at the Salvation Army was a good one. Life is what you make it. And you may find urself in a surrounding with people who are not fully ready to make the decisions you are but that doesn't mean they don't need help. To the Salvation Army is a clean environment. I had a roof over my head and food in my stomach. The really helped me a great deal. And for the negative reviews, they people who wrote them should review themselves honestly and once you do u will realize that the Salvation Army wasn't the problem it was your views and ideas about what things should be like according to you.

   It is what you make it, It was clean and safe, the staff was respectful but didn't tolerate any foolishness. Up at 5:30 am and back again at 5 pm. the meals were hit and miss but always something on the plate.
