The Mission of Yahweh, Inc. is a faith-based shelter that empowers, enriches, and restores the lives of homeless women and children and provides outreach services to low-income communities.


Eligibility:Homeless women and their children; Boys maximum age eight, girls maximum age twelve; Must live in zip code 77041.

Must be willing to donate 20 hours per week working at mission

Services:Domestic Violence Shelters, Homeless Shelter for Single Parent Families Headed by Mothers. Food Pantry: Zip Code 77041 only; Shelter: Harris County

  1. Enter this wonderful place with an open mind and open heart. Take the opportunity to receive the warmth of the caring staff. The faces and stories behind being homeless amazed me. My perception of a homeless woman certainly changed the day I became one. We came from all walks of life. The end result was that we were all in need of shelter and we were fortunate enough to find the mission.
