  1. They had bedbugs, the floor in the hallway to rooms had an open spot where it was worn down to boards, no towels, no bedding, mattress had holes in it and wasn't cleaned in any way upon arrival, people running front day area were living there, I think the health department needs to inspect the women's shelter immediately and that the sponsors on the sponsor board in the hall should be made aware of the poor conditions. I saw no program. Just a place to sleep behind a locking door. Needs deep cleaning, bedding, towels, and pest control at the minimum.

  2. Terrible. The Health Department needs to inspect and there is no capable authority in charge. What a shame this place is. I don’t understand why donors do not investigate the places they donate to.

Yes they do offer shelter & food. But at what cost? Religion is shoved down your throat every single night by people that want nothing else but to tell you their sob stories. Pretty much all of the people considered to be "in charge" have either been brainwashed to this establishment's way of thinking or are on some sort of weird power trip or both. They lock you away from the good bathroom which leaves just the 1 person bathroom for anywhere from 10 to 40 people. And let's not forget Paco. I will not include his last name although I will say he is a criminal. I have done extensive searches into this man's background & have to wonder. Why is this man in charge of anything? He should not even be allowed in regular society. The general consensus of anyone who has stayed at the mission for any length of time is that he just picks random people to give a hard time. Not 1 person has anything good to say about this joke of a man who does nothing but sit there. He's getting paid for this? Wow! Amazing. Hiway 80? Get it together. Also, Chase is supposed to be the main guy there. If Chase was doing his job correctly then people like Pacific would not be employed there. I will now start to contact the donating organizations listed on the wall. I'm sure they would be interested to know what their money is getting them.

They don't allow outside food in to supplement your 3 meals a day even to eat in the kitchen. I went to bed every night with hunger pangs and I only weigh 125 pounds and I'm 5'9. Not only that, they refused to run the AC on 100°+ days in August, which is also totally inconsiderate as viruses and bacteria more easily spread in warm environments. This is the most incompetently run place I've EVER seen. You're better off sleeping in the woods.

This place is every bit as bad as you can imagine. A 10 yr old could run it better.
