Third Street Alliance for Women & Children Women and Children's Shelter
Address
41 N Third St
Easton, PA - 18042
The women residing at Third Street Alliance have become homeless for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is as common as losing a job and having no support system or savings plan in place. Sometimes a debilitating disease takes its toll before disability benefits can be accessed. Sometimes the path is more complex, winding around alcohol and/or drug abuse before ending abruptly at homelessness. There are many, many reasons that women and families find themselves homeless and at Third Street Alliance there are just as many opportunities for them to get back on their feet.
Starting the Process
Third Street Alliance for Women & Children is one of the walk-in centers for the Coordinated Entry system within the Lehigh Valley. Coordinated Entry is a communitys housing crisis response system for people experiencing or are at-risk for homelessness. It is an effective process for helping people find the housing and services they need to end their housing crisis as quickly and successfully as possible.
By using a standardized assessment tool and referral process, families and individuals are prioritized for appropriate housing and services based on vulnerability and servility of need.
To begin the process, call 610-258-6271, ext. 504.
