The William and Mildred Orr Compassionate Care Center provides 24-hour shelter and non-medical respite care for adults who are unable to return to their prior housing situation, and are in need of a supportive place to recuperate after being discharged from the hospital. Men's and women's shelter. 14 beds. Provides meals of breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The Orr house serves mostly elderly persons and those disabled who have just been released from the hospital. It is bus accessible (71C and 64A), and has both laundry and bathing facilities.

The William and Mildred Orr Compassionate Care Center provides shelter and nonmedical respite care for adults who are recuperating from an injury or illness. It is a comfortable place for people who are unable to return to their prior living arrangements, due to their current medical condition, to rest and heal in many ways.

The Orr Center provides a home-like setting for up to 12 individuals during the first few weeks after their discharge from the hospital. Admission requires a referral from a counselor or case manager.
