My Fathers House is a safe and caring environment that serves Schuylkill County by providing housing, material goods, and supportive services to homeless men and women striving to obtain sustainable independence.

We operate a Day Center at 4 South Centre Street in Pottsville that operates as the main hub of the program. We also operate an overnight facility at the United Presbyterian Church which provides 13 beds for men. Women guests are provided rooms in a local rooming house free of charge while they work to complete their goals with our Case Managers at the Day Center.

Tags Donations Needed: We rely on the generosity of the community for our food, clothing, transportation, and housing voucher needs. Monetary donations can be mailed to PO Box 1354 Pottsville, PA 17901. Food and clothing donations can be dropped at the shelter Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm. FOOD NEEDS: Pop-top canned meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, Chef-Boyardee; Peanut butter; Water: Juice Boxes; Coffee. CLOTHING NEEDS: Men and Women's jeans, boots, and underwear. HYGEINE NEEDS: Antiperspirant, Feminine Products, Nail Clippers Volunteers Needed: Overnight Volunteer Monitors to work 1 night a month from 8pm to 7am. Need more male volunteers especially.
