Community Intervention Center

CIC serves as a day shelter for displaced and / or homeless individuals providing telephone contact, mail privileges, daily storage and late afternoon nourishments as well as vital continual community contact in a non threatening sober environment. Maintains Supportive Housing Program.
Distributes sleeping bags and food.

Drug and Alcohol Services

Daily Educational Video
Weekly 12 Step Self-help meeting.
Crisis intervention, information and referral.
Detox and inpatient treatment referral.

Outreach:

Disaffiliated individuals in need of situational advisement and medical, mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and appropriate social service referrals are provided professional interventions utilizing a non threatening and gingerly approach.
Inpatient referral to dually diagnosed (MISA**) treatment facilities and follow up case-managment services are provided to individuals in mental health/chemical dependency crisis.
HIV education and confidential testing available on site.
