Services we provide to our Cleveland County residents: Food Pantry, Clothing Assistance, Utility Assistance, Rent / Mortgage Assistance, ID & Birth Certificate Assistance, Anti-Poverty Initiative, Community Meal, and Emergency Shelter,
Food Pantry
Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. 3 p.m., we provide food once every 30 days. In order to receive assistance you must bring an ID, proof of residency, and complete an initial intake form.
Clothing Assistance
Provided for individuals experiencing homelessness one time a year. Individuals will need to have an ID, proof of income and complete an intake form.
Utility Assistance
Emergency financial assistance is provided to pay a utility bill when funds are available. Please call the office during business hours to check on availability of funds. You will be screened for eligibility, if eligible an appointment will be given. You will be asked to bring an ID, proof of income for every adult in the household, receipts of expenses paid in the last 30 days and the current utility bill which created the emergency.
Rent / Mortgage Assistance
Emergency financial assistance is provided to pay rent/mortgage when funds are available. Please call the office during business hours to check on availability of funds. You will be screened for eligibility, if eligible an appointment will be given. You will be asked to bring an ID, proof of income for every adult in the household, receipts of expenses paid in the last 30 days and the current rent/mortgage bill which created the emergency.
ID & Birth Certificate Assistance
For individuals experiencing homelessness with no income, we assist them with obtaining an ID or retrieving their birth certificate. Individuals must either be staying in The Salvation Army Shelter or bring a referral from a partner agency stating the individuals homeless status.
