St. Paul's specializes in servicing adults and/or individuals with severe mental illness
St. Paul's aims at shortening the length of stay at St. Paul's as we believe that every individual is entitled to housing. The maximum length of stay is 90 days
Shelter
Our Shelter program provides more than 12,000 nights of shelter to the homeless each year. 90% of shelter residents are severely and persistently mentally ill.
Beyond food, shelter and basic needs, we also provide case management focused on permanent housing solutions and guidance on how to navigate community resources.
Our 35 Bed Facility provides:
Safe temporary/emergency shelter for men and women.
Assistance in resolving issues related to homelessness
Staff with links to treatment, support services and permanent housing
Priority is given to homeless individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
Transitional Housing
The Dwelling Place is a 12-one bedroom apartment complex that provides transitional housing for up to 24 months. With the assistance of staff, residents learn the necessary skills to live in-dependently and become self-sufficient
Supportive housing program
Home Base:
16-apartment facility accommodating single men and women.
Medication monitoring assisting clients with treatment compliance.
Support services helping residents acquire necessary life skills and resources to maintain independent living.
