Project Hope for the Homeless Ecumenical Shelter Network of Lake County Inc.

Our program has three phases and a maximum stay of 45 days. Guests are able to arrive at 7 p.m. each evening with a reservation. Reservations can be secured by calling 211 from any land line in Lake County or 800-654-5465 from a cell phone. Guests depart at 6:30 a.m. and are transported to the Salvation Army at 69 Pearl St., Painesville.

Shelter Routine
6 to 6:30 p.m.
Catch the LakeTran bus at the Lake County Sheriff's Office
7 to 8 p.m.
Project Hope staff greets guests at the security check-in. Guests sign in, sign up for showers and chores at this time.
7:45 to 8:15 p.m.
Dinner is served by volunteers
8 to 10:15 p.m.
Showers are taken in 15-minute intervals
8:20 - 8:30 p.m.
Smoke break
8:30 -9:30 p.m.
Complete chores and spend time with volunteers for bible study, music and other scheduled activities. These activities may include:
- Visits from Extended Housing, Lake-Geauga Center, nursing students from Lakeland Community College and other community agencies
- Bible study, praise and worship music, prayer
- Testimonies from former shelter guests or other interested individuals. To learn more about sharing your story, contact us.
- Free haircuts once a month from local businesses
9:30-10 p.m.
Evening chores
10:20-10:30 p.m.
Smoke break
10:30 p.m. - Lights out
5:45 a.m. - Wake up, make beds
6-6:30 a.m.
Breakfast when available, chores
6:30-6:45 a.m.
Leave for the day
