   last year,around early february I went for a bed which I had to wait a considerable length of time for since at the time I went there late there were no bed for me and I had to wait quite a while.Anyway,since I was tired of waiting-I went to see if the bed that I was assigned on another night in the later part of january that same year which was 2019,when i went over to the bed I had prior to this night,it appeared to be unoccupied,and just as I had gotten a short distance past it,some black guy grabs hold of me with both his hands,one of which was on the sleeve of my sweat shirt,and the other was on my pants pocket.I managed to break free of his grasp but then I went to one of the workers there and told him what happened and the worker had me fill out what I remember as being claim.After I filled it out I handed it to the person and he apologised for what had happened and he tried to get me a bed at the opposite end of the big room which was a bunk bed,the top bed which kind of scared me since I have a fear of heights since i had fallen out of one as a kid.I didn't sleep at all that night,so after that incident I decided that place wasn't for me,I mean if I go to a homeless shelter and something like what happened to me happens,that's a deal breaker.Not only that but my sister told me of a stabbing in 2015 at this same shelter.Thank god I'm now staying with my sister whom took me in out of love,and hopefully I'll never ever again be in the situation where I'm forced to stay at a homeless shelter which I refuse to do.I'll sleep in the woods before I go back to a shelter.And the rescue mission is no better since the woman whom is there at night was a damn bitch although no incidents occured there I don't want to stay at any shelters.As for catholic charities shelter what happened to me there could happen again,and the stabbing there in 2015 that could also happen again,and if i happen to be there,i could very easily be the one it happens to maybey it wouldn't happen again,but it could,and thats a chance I'm not willing to take,and you can't guarantee it won't happen again,and i'm not ready to meet my maker,and I'm against it moving to the proposed place on west genesee street,for the same reason as the people who live in that neighborhood,and I'm with them on this.
