Magnolia House - Women's Shelter

Magnolia House Womens Shelter in Brownsville, Brooklyn, is a 200-bed shelter that provides temporary emergency housing in a safe, supportive and drug-free facility for single women who are dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse. Bedford-Stuyvesant

Meals, 24/7 security and on-site comprehensive services, including case management, housing assistance, substance abuse counseling, creative arts therapy, medical, and psychiatric services, are provided. Residents are supported in accessing online resources, completing a virtual resume and applying for jobs.

Eligibility: Homeless women who experience psychiatric illness, substance abuse and other issues. Client referrals are determined by the DHS Assessment Unit

  2. Stay as far away from here as possible. Nothing but ineffectual people work here. They all have a massive attitude and no one ever knows anything.
