24 hour shelter for men.

Intake, Assessment, and General Population shelter for homeless men. Intake center for homeless men who are new to the DHS shelter system or who have not resided in the DHS system for over 12 months. New entrants are assigned to one of four assessment shelters. For clients assigned to other DHS shelters transportation and overnight shelter assignments are provided.

  3. Keep to yourself. Don’t try to make friends, you are there because your going thru a Situation. Stay busy, go out some time, pass visit sum family. At the end of it all it’s worth the wait for your own place.

  5. NYC is not trying to help homeless people. If you are educated, not mentally ill or on any substance they give minimum help.

  6. The intake process is brutal getting your bed at 1am only to repeat the process again until your assessment is done is a wait you will always remember

    I spent over 20 minutes waiting for someone on the phone. Once they answered, they were so helpful. They told me someone would get back to me about a patient in 3 days. It has now been a week and no one has gotten back to me. No one answers the phone now or answers my emails.

    I’ve been calling this number for MONTHS. I’m looking for my missing uncle that was sent to this shelter and no one ever answers the phone. I need help ASAP
