A multi-service daytime drop-in-center for the homeless and poor. We provide a legal address for people to use to apply for social services, jobs, register to vote or personal reasons. We also provide free use of the telephone for both outgoing and incoming calls. Our goal is to empower people to become self-sufficient and independent. This is done through counseling, referrals to appropriate agencies, providing emergency clothing, hygiene products, transportation to social services, and most of all welcoming everyone no matter what one's life situation may be at that moment in time. Our Place offers coffee, tea, light refreshments, use of restroom and a safe place to go during the day to rest, and be treated with dignity and respect by all as we are one "family".
