Inasmuch House Haven of Rest

Inasmuch House Haven of Rest provides emergency food and shelter to single women and children. It provides temporary emergency shelter where individuals stay between 30 to 60 days. Inasmuch House provides room for 55 homeless individuals including women, children and families.

Services provided:

- Through qualified shelter staff, residents receive advocacy, life-skills and empowerment classes, support groups, case management and referrals to social service agencies

- The full-time case management program allows staff to provide stability in emergency situations. Also, with adequate programming staff members can assist women, children and families in modifying their behaviors, attitudes, habits, and thinking with the main goal of becoming self-sufficient. Case management also provides follow-up support services to the women, children and families

- Children learn self-confidence in a comfortable learning environment. Also, they learn positive coping mechanisms that allow them to deal with family crisis
