Hispanic Service Center's Food Pantry provides food to anyone residing in Lapeer County once a month. The pantry provides each participant with one week's worth of groceries as a supplement for those who are unable to secure sufficient amounts of food. HSC strives to ensure that some of the food options provided at the pantry are fresh and perishable food items, in addition to canned goods and other non-perishable foods.
HSC provides food pantry services by appointment. Please call (810) 724-3665 to schedule an interview.
If you are in need of HSC's Food Pantry the following items are REQUIRED:
Proof of residence, such as State of Michigan Driver's License or State ID
Proof of income is for ALL residents in the household
If requesting assistance for households with children, you must bring one of the following:
Copy of school ID
Social Security Card
Birth Certificate
In addition, please bring at least one of the following documents:
Recent Utility Bill (Gas Bill, Water Bill, Trash Bill, Cable Bill, Electricity Bill, etc)
Lease Agreement
Social Security Income Letter
Welfare Documents
* Make sure you check by calling the food pantry to confirm that they still are in operation and the hours have not changed.
