Family shelter for adults and children, including at least one parent
Families, including at least one parent and one or more children, are provided temporary shelter at 34 Federal Street in Brunswick, Maine in 6 private apartments. Supported Housing
Those who face homelessness often deal with overwhelming stress in their lives. Many also combat physical and / or mental health challenges. Our long-term goal is to place people in permanent, affordable housing.
Tedford Housing manages six supported housing apartment complexes with a total of 37 units for previously homeless individuals and families. Tenants pay subsidized rent and are required to follow the rules of the building. A case manager is available to assist the tenants in obtaining needed services and to advocate for clients on an individualized basis.
