Karis Home - Baltimore Rescue Mission

Eligibility:   Single women 18 years or older, pregnant women, and women with children. Women with children can have boys 9 years and under, and girls of all ages accepted. Will accept drug/alcohol-free women (no methadone) in a substance abuse program for at least one month.

Hours: Every day from 5pm to 8am.
Intake hours: Mondays through Fridays from: 8am to 5:30pm.

 Provides shelter, clothing, meals, showers, a 6:30PM gospel service and medical screenings to homeless women, pregnant women and women with children. Lodgers are permitted to stay for an initial period of one month, however, they must vacate the shelter from 8AM-4PM each day. Women who do not return to Karis Home by 5PM for more than one night will lose their space unless they are hospitalized, proof is required. Individuals should call during Intake hours, seven days a week, 8AM-1PM. Women with children can have boys 9 years and under, and girls of all ages accepted. They do not have anyone there that can assist Spanish speakers.
