Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (closed on major holidays)
Provides a food pantry and financial assistance to residents of their catchment area. Can use pantry once every three months. Provides a five day supply of nonperishable foods. Can some times provide baby formula and some baby items. Brown bag lunches available everyday in the afternoon.
Eligibility Persons in need of emergency financial aid. Must show social security card for each family member.Application Process Call or walk-in for information.
Other services provided:
UTILITY and rent assistance: Provides limited financial assistance once a year with BGE turnoff notices, prescriptions and eviction prevention. Will provide the last $75 if funds are available. Must bring utility turn-off and eviction notices, photo ID and social security. Call to make sure funds are still available. no source of income required.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES: When funds are available can assist individuals with obtaining medical supplies and paying for prescriptions.
CLOTHING: Can give referrals to Surprise Shop at Trinity Episcopal Church for obtaining items free of charge.
TRANSPORTATION: Limited funds are available for bus token to travel to VERIFIABLE job interviews and doctor's appointments.
PERSONAL ITEMS: Provides health and hygiene products when available. Call for availability.
IDENTIFICATION: Will assist people in obtaining ID's every Wed, 12:30PM.
