The Springfield Rescue Mission is a Christian based Emergency Shelter, Rehabilitation Program & Transitional Living Facility, serving Greater Springfield since 1892.
The goal of our Emergency Shelter is to meet the immediate and basic life needs of homeless men living in crisis by providing a safe, clean, warm and healthy environment. While meeting these immediate needs, each guest is encouraged to enter a local or regional rehabilitation program to deal with the issues that led them to homelessness. We provide showers with clean towels and personal care items, nutritious evening and morning meals, clean beds with fresh linens, medical attention, new undergarments and gently used clothing as needed, chapel services, counseling, and advocacy.
The hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 4:00PM to 8:00AM. Beds are available first come, first serve.
