Mission: To provide emergency shelter and necessary support services to runaway, abandoned, and homeless youth ages 10 21 within the Baton Rouge Area, enabling them to transition into responsible and successful citizens.
- The BASIC CENTER is an Emergency Shelter for male and female youth ages 10-17.
- The YARC is a Young Adult Residential Center for low income residents ages 18-25.
- Youth Oasis also leads the community wide SAFE PLACE program.
STORY
Youth Oasis is a local, non-profit organization located in Mid-City Baton Rouge on South Acadian Thruway (near the Baton Rouge General Medical Centers Mid-City Campus).
