Veterans Transitional Housing Center - Mountain Comprehensive Care Center

Provides a homeless veterans transitional housing centerVeteran Transitional Housing. The facility has 25 units available to servehomeless veterans in our region.Residents will be provided housing and supportive services for up to 2 years while transitioning into permanent housing.

Other services include: Psychiatric services, addiction counseling, etc.

Our program is design to house veterans for a maximum of two years. During this time we help veterans apply for all the benefits that there entitled to so they are able to re-enter society and resume a stable life style.  We are currently accepting referrals for homeless veterans we are capable of housing up to 25 veterans. If you feel that you have any veterans that would be a good fit for our program please let me know. The guidelines are as follows:

1.       The veteran is homeless
2.       Has at least six months of active duty (not reserve time).
3.       Was discharged with honorable distinction (including less than, other than and general)
4.       Has an income that is not greater than 16,100 per year
5.       No violent offenders or registered sex offenders
6.       We are an alcohol and substance free facility and do not provide detox.
7.      The Veterans Transitional Housing Center will provide health care services for the veterans. MCCC staff will work closely with the VA Medical Center staff and local veterans service representatives to ensure each veteran is receiving any and all benefits to which they are entitled
8.       We do require a certain documents prior to admission, but are happy to work with any individual veteran regarding the intake and approval process.
