Family Social Services
On a case-by-case basis, our licensed social workers work with near-Southside families to secure the resources they need to maintain their self-sufficiency, improve their quality of life--and thrive!



Examples of services include:



    Basic needs assistance (shelter, utility payments, food and transportation)

    Improving self-sufficiency

    Career development (employment and/or training referrals, resume-building, interview skills)

    Homelessness prevention

    Financial coaching

    Referrals to external agencies (i.e. mental health counseling, housing complexes, local health providers, local food pantries, etc.)

All families complete an initial intake session/needs assessment, which provides an outline of services and resources to follow. Case management services vary with each family and their specific needs. The duration of services is flexible, depending on each families' unique plans and goals.
