Tags Donations Needed: Underwear, socks, cleaning products, any toiletries, toilet paper, paper plates, bowls, towels, any food items. We accept a lot. Make sure to call ahead if you think you have something that we could use. Volunteers Needed: Our organization primarily runs by means of volunteers who are willing to commit to help individuals staying at the shelter. There are two primary volunteer positions:- Front Desk: a focus on relational service. One who works the front desk sets up the facility for dinner, talks with the guests, performs intakes, helps with problems that arise, and creates and overall sense of hospitality. Desk workers work from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm.-Kitchen Crew: service in action. Those who are serving in the kitchen prepare all the meals, serve the meals to guests, clean the dishes, wipe down the tables, and make sure the kitchen is clean. Meals are an important part of what we do at the shelter, and preparing the food is an important job.
