JOURNEYS - The Road Home

Scattered Site Emergency Shelter Program serving the northwest suburban area of Cook County.

They provide homeless individuals with proof of ID showing residence in Arlington Heights or surrounding areas with a homeless ID which enables you to go to the shelter for the night. Each night of the week the shelter location changes usually in the basement if a church.

Daycenter supportive services hours:
Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

HOPE Center:
The HOPE Center is a day resource center that provides free services to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.
M-F 7:30am - 4PM.

PADS Emergency Shelter Program:
The goal of the PADS Emergency Shelter Program is to provide hospitality, food, and overnight emergency shelter to the homeless between October 1 and April 30, seven days a week (including holidays). PADS Emergency Shelter sites are open from 7:00 pm until 7:00 am. Guests may not arrive prior to 6:45 pm or later than 9:00 pm, and must depart prior to 7:00 am.
