The Homeless Shelter provides immediate relief to women with children. In addition to shelter, we provide lifes basic needs food, clothing, personal care items, laundry facilities, transportation, and telephones to make appointments. Supportive services provided include employment assistance, budgeting, family literacy, parenting classes, tutoring, and case management with a goal of finding and maintaining permanent housing. Referrals are made for daycare, treatment centers, adult education, and other mainstream resources. We also work with District 186 to make sure that school-age children are attending classes.
