Christian Family Care Center

We operate a 24/7 Crisis Hotline that primarily receives calls from those who are homeless, those in danger of being beaten or killed, and those contemplating suicide.
If you or someone you know is in any kind of danger, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 309.788.2273. We have resources readily available and will be able to assist you in any way that we can.
We have both a men's rescue mission providing meals, clothing, and housing as well as a women and children's domestic violence shelter.

We primarily provide care to residents of the Quad Cities, but we also have taken in individuals from other states and even other countries.
We serve:
Homeless individuals
Victims of Domestic Violence
Victims of Sexual Assault
Children and Adolescents
Individuals struggling with mental illness
Men and Women transitioning out of prison
Veterans

The Rescue Mission provides shelter for homeless men. Our facility is an alcohol and drug free environment. Although many of our residents are recovering from substance abuse, not every man who stays with us is a drug addict or an alcoholic. Many of our men suffer from mental health issues, some are developmentally challenged, and some have recently been released from jail or prison. Many of our men have experienced hard times--loss of a job, health issues, divorce, etc. All are experiencing circumstances beyond their control and desperately want their lives to return to normal.
Residents have access to skill-building groups, job searches, personal counseling, and case management. They can attend chapel services nightly, meditate daily and participate in Bible studies each week night.

Community Meals
We provide three meals a day most days, not only for our residents but also for any hungry person who comes to our door. Last year we served well over 60,000 meals to the community.
Here is our schedule:
Breakfast: Daily at 6:30 a.m.
Lunch: Monday Friday at 12:15 p.m.
Dinner: Daily at 6:30 p.m.
