They provide transitional housing, 3 meals daily, and individualized services for adults, youth, families with children and military veterans with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to help get people access to treatment, education, job training, permanent employment and affordable housing.

All services are free to the residents.

Hours of operation:

Between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Monday to Friday

Tags Donations Needed: New twin size linens, towels, male and female toiletries, socks and underwear and T-shirt’s are needed Year around.

A Safe Haven is a wonderful organization. They helped me address my issues and got me back on my feet.

I stayed at A Safe Haven for 3 months in 2016. I am an Air Force veteran and my stay was EXCEPTIONAL. I am a female and it was clean. The food was pretty okay and the staff was pleasant. Truly grateful for that place.

If you want to succeed at A Safe Haven, you have to be willing to attend classes and put in the work to turn your life around.

You can only stay there if you are a veteran current or former. They no longer accept applications from the public.

There are some people that have been there over a year and they make certain people leave. It depends if they like you or not.

You can stay as long as you need to get back on your feet. I stayed for about 6 months until I got a job and an apartment.
