Rainbow Village, Inc.

Rainbow Village's mission is to transform lives for homeless families with children of North Metro Atlanta through a community-based transitional housing program that promotes self-sufficiency.



Rainbow Village is NOT an emergency shelter and is not able to provide short-term emergency assistance.



Rainbow Village is a one-to-two year intensive program of intervention for homeless families with children of North Metro Atlanta. The program includes MANDATORY classes, counseling, advisement, and community activities in addition to managed housing that emphasizes accountability.



In order to be eligible to apply for the program, applicants must be veritably homeless or facing imminent homelessness, have custoody of a minor child or children, have a valid Georgia ID or Driver's License, and have lived in the state of Georgia for at least 30 days. In addition, all adult applicants must be willing and able to work and have reliable transportation to in order to get to work (if applicable), Rainbow Village activities, and to pick up their child(ren) from the After-School Program.
