We are Georgia's only drop-in Day Center for the homeless. We are located at 1739 Fenwick St. in the historic Harrisburg neighborhood of Augusta, Ga.

WHAT WE DO
We do NOT charge our clients for any of the services we offer.The Day Center on Fenwick St. provides services to the homeless and under housed (usually no utilities) and low income individuals and families.The center is a safe place, out of the weather with access to hot/cold food, showers and laundry use.The Fenwick Street Center also has a case management team to assist in preventing or ending homelessness. We have an active caseload of 1,500 individuals and families.
Also recovery 12-step programs are available.
We obtain birth certificates, social security cards, Georgia IDs, and provide transportation to job interviews and resume help.

We assist clients with finding medical help.We pay for doctors and clinic visits(if funds are available) and medications.
We also assist in locating affordable housing and give vouchers for clothing to our Thrift Shop.
We serve 8,000 - 10,000 meals each month and provide fresh fruit, vegetables and bread to 2,000 individuals and families
every month during our twice a week food drive. (See photo below-people line up behind Fenwick Street Tuesdays and Fridays at 3:30. Bring a bag or box to carry the food in.)
