Catholic Charities established Pinellas Hope in partnership with the interfaith community, local government, businesses and other not-for-profits to assist the homeless with 250 units of emergency shelter and 156 subsidized efficiency apartment units. Pinellas Hope is located in Clearwater (Pinellas Park) on the over 20 acres of land provided by Bishop Robert N. Lynch and the Diocese of St. Petersburg in 2007. Pinellas Hope was established to serve street homeless adults by providing temporary emergency shelter. Intake is facilitated by three Community Outreach teams. Residents are assisted with food, transportation, employment assistance and social services.

Pinellas Hope III, IV and V consists of 76 newly constructed efficiency units identical to those found in Pinellas Hope II. This project targets the special needs for homeless and 30% of the units are dedicated to those below 33% area median income for Pinellas County. Forty units are dedicated to housing Veterans and each building as one ADA-ready unit. The development shares the same pavilion, grilling area, and work out area as Pinellas Hope II. Its residents have access to the same agency services and communal buildings as do Pinellas Hope I residents.
