Housing & Feeding Ministry
Emergency / Transitional Housing
Housing more than 150 people & feeding more than 450 every day.
St. Matthews House is a part of the recovery process, not a permanent place to live.
Our goal is to equip each person that leaves St. Matthews House to make the transition from a homeless lifestyle to self-sufficiency.
When St. Mathews House residents enter our Emergency/Transitional Housing Program, they subsequently submit themselves to our rules and regulations, which in turn lead to the self-respect that comes from accountability. We have a no-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Our program offers compassionate, disciplined counseling and guidance to each residents physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges.
Residents have access to referrals for their medical, mental health, and substance abuse needs. We partner with many key organizations including NCH, David Lawrence Center and the Neighborhood Health Clinic to make sure the residents have the resources to be successful.
Clientele meet weekly with a case manager to set goals and a plan of action. They also attend meetings seven days a week to assist them on their road to self-sufficiency.

Justins Place Feeding Ministry
Justins Place Feeding Ministry operates out of our original 1988 facility, the former East Naples Fire Station. On average, we prepare 60 meals per day to feed anyone who is homeless and/or hungry, totaling more than 20,000 meals served each year.
The facility has never missed a day of serving meals in over 25 years. Justins Place Feeding Ministry continues to feed the homeless, hungry and needy of our community underneath a protective awning that shields diners from the intense southwest Florida elements.
