First United Methodist Church Food Pantry
Address
599 Eighth Avenue
Crestview, FL - 32539
First United Methodist Church of Crestview has a food pantry by appointment, as well as up to six benevolence grants per week for people in the Crestview community in danger of losing water or power.
These appointments may be scheduled through the church office. Supporting documentation may be required, depending on circumstances.
FUMC also offers a soup kitchen at lunchtime on Saturday, serving from 11am-noon each week in the Fellowship Hall in the back of the church. Soup Kitchen is free and open to anyone who needs a hot meal, no ID or proof of income required.
The church also hosts Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless, across the street from the church at 428 McLaughlin St. This is a daytime shelter that offers homeless and displaced persons a place to shower and wash their clothes, warm up food, apply for jobs, and receive interview training.
This location also serves as a Cold Night Shelter on Saturday nights when the temperature drops below 40 degrees.
