Home of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to identify and meet the social-environmental needs of our community. Home of Hope offers Counseling Services to individuals in the Greater Waterbury area. Home of Hope also has a separate Transitional Housing Program for families with children who are experiencing homelessness. The program provides support and personalized care to promote resilience and support families in achieving sustainable independence and sufficiency.

Tags Donations Needed: Toiletries - toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Towels-kitchen and bath Laundry detergent and dryer sheets Any cleaning supplies- family sized containers preferred Mops, brooms, buckets and laundry baskets Antibacterial cleaning wipes Disposable diapers and baby wipes Paper products Garbage cans and bags- 13 gallon size Batteries and light bulbs School supplies, including backpacks. High need items include 2 pocket folders, ink pens, pencils, crayons, spiral notebooks, glue and glue sticks. Bed linens and comforters (twin size) Pots and Pans Small throw rugs- neutral colors preferred Volunteers Needed: Yes
