Family Promise of Greater Denver Emergency Shelter

Family Promises Shelter Program strives to provide more than just shelter for families experiencing homelessness. By partnering with faith congregations, families receive shelter, meals, and supportive services while they work toward long-term housing. Families in the Shelter Program stay overnight at local faith congregations, moving every Sunday to a new location. Each overnight location is staffed by trained volunteers with 24-hour support from the Family Promise staff. Each family has their own space at the congregation for sleeping and storing their belongings. Additionally, families receive three meals a day, help with transportation, access to showers and laundry facilities, and individualized case management and housing navigation.

To access shelter, families should call 303-675-0713 ext. 1 to complete a phone intake. When space is available, families will be prioritized for shelter based on when they completed their phone take, along with a number of other vulnerability factors from their intake.

We are unable to accept walk ins. If you are in need of services please call us at 303-675-0713.

Day Shelter

Families in our Shelter Program can access our Day Site 7 days a week. At the Day Site, Family Promise staff provide case management, referrals, access to hygiene items and other physical resources, and overall support. Families can conduct housing and job searches through the use of the sites computer lab and phones. The Day Site also has a playroom for children, a kitchen, showers, laundry, and a backyard for relaxing and playing.
