Comitis Crisis Center

The Comitis Crisis Center provides shelter and other services to homeless and individuals in need.


SERVICES PROVIDED:

Emergency adult shelter, which is a monthly emergency shelter for adults that are 18 years old of age and older

  • It is a lottery line, therefore individuals must call 303-341-9160 from 5:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. on the last day of the month. Then, individuals must call again to confirm after 2:00p.m. The monthly stays start on the first day of the month.
  • Meals, hygiene items and seasonal clothing is available
  • Showers are available
  • Referral services and case management
  • Healthcare screenings provided by MCPN (Metro Community Provider Network)
  • LGBTQ+ affirming supportive services


Transitional family shelter, three- to six-month short-term shelter for eligible families receiving Colorado Works (TANF) through Arapahoe County

  • Meals, hygiene items and seasonal clothing available
  • Case management and financial literacy classes


Emergency family shelter, which is a nightly emergency shelter for families with children under 18 years old of age

  • It is a lottery line, therefore individuals must call 720-505-2628 from 5:00a.m. to 12:00p.m., and call again to confirm after 2:00p.m.
  • Meals, hygiene items and seasonal clothing is available
  • Showers are available
  • Referral services and case management


Transitional VA shelter, which is for veterans and their families as they gain self-sufficiency. For more information, please contact 303-341-9160.

  • For single female veterans and male/female veterans with families
  • Meals, hygiene items, and seasonal clothing is available
  • Case management and financial literacy classes
