Served Meals
St. Francis Center provides the homeless with warm meals and sack lunches six days a week through our served meal service and traditional holiday meals. Unique to the Center, however, is our commitment to treating our homeless guests with dignity, first by greeting them by name and then serving meals "restaurant style" at round tables in our dining room.
No registration or payment is needed to receive this service.
Meals are served:
Monday 7:30 am-8:00 am
Tuesday-Friday 7:30 am-9:00 am
Saturday 8:30 am-10:00 am
Hygiene Services
During our shower program, the Center distributes clothing and hygiene kits, which include basic toiletries, clean underwear, socks, and towels. Each guest must sign up for a time slot. Spaces are limited and are given on a first come-first serve basis.
Hygiene Services are available:
Monday: 7:30am 2:00pm
Tuesday: 7:30am 12:00pm
Friday: 9:30am-10:30am
Saturday: 6:00am-8:00am
Health Services
SFCs health services not only connect guests with referrals to our health care partners including St. Johns Well Child & Family Cent, but our center also creates a bridge of support that increases accessibility to these critical services for our populations. These guests face additional challenges that create barriers to accessing proper health care that include lack of transportation, language barriers, income, compounded health issues, and lack of knowledge. Our comprehensive program offerings provide improved recognition and attention to health issues specifically through intake for our resource services and case management.
