  1. Not really, unless you are friends with the guards. If you are a decent person suffering, it might surprise you with whom the guards would align against you.

  1. These days, it is pretty dangerous on the streets. So it is a toss up if you would be safer on the streets, or going to the shelter.

    I believe that everyone there was relieved and went to bed without argue. The rain poured, day after day and most were given indoor options. Those who opted out didn't complain and returned. Hot meals, showers, and conversation was the night. 6 am comes early and that is usually the time you arrive at the stop.
