Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission

Our Mission is to attract people and resources to assist in the effort of meeting the needs of every hungry and homeless man, woman and child in the greater Los Angeles area. Through strategic partnerships and services, we empower our clients with the faith, knowledge, resources and skills to lead a life of wholeness and self-sufficiency.

The John E. White House of Hope allows for 12 men to enjoy safe shelter while completing a nine-month recovery program. Its purpose is to equip men with long-term and sustainable recovery solutions.

Genesis House is an emergency shelter for single women and children who are transitioning out of homelessness.
The purpose is to provide a safe environment in which mothers and their children can be equipped to live self-supporting and healthy lives.
The house has rooms for nine families, and is managed 24 hours a day by an on-site House Manager. The program is designed to give women the structure needed to gain employment, save for the future, and move on to the next level of housing.
