The BridgeHouse, currently under the management of Good Samaritan Shelter in partnership with the County of Santa Barbara, is a place where homeless families and individuals can find emergency shelter. The BridgeHouse provides case management to each individual client and referrals for clients to seek necessary financial, medical and other supportive services on an as needed basis. Any persons interested in staying at the BridgeHouse may contact the shelter staff by phone or walk-in at 4:30 PM daily.
Persons wishing to enter the program may contact the program at anytime during regular working hours between 8:30 am 5:00 pm to set up a time for an intake. There are several services available to residence of our shelters that include but are not limited to: overnight shelter, case management, laundry facilities, hot meals, and mental health services.
Yes I have and that Pastor that runs the Lompoc one just have to say never in my life have I met another pastor like him, he curses so much he has no sympathy and he looks at all that come there as drug users. That should answer how my stay was.
They have cameras but people have stuff come up missing all the time. They don't play the camera over to find the thief so either the cameras don't work OR they don't care.
Lompoc shelter is amazing , staff and people are beyond friendly. Services are amazing.. Pastor Brian is a caring and straight forward man.. I'de recommend this shelter to anyone in need of a safe bed or mental health issues..
I had to go to the bridge house shelter in Lompoc ca and at the time I had a service dog. I was told I could not bring my service dog there, I should have fought it then because it illegal to turn away a registered service dog. But it was either get a bed there or sleep outside. So I got my best friend to care for my dog at night, but he was living in a tent across the highway in River Park. On the night of June 16th 2018 my little dog got out of the tent and went looking for me. He was attacked and destroyed down in the river bed, we found his head and other shredded pieces of my poor trusting little dog. My friend came to let me known that my dog was missing and shelter staff turned him away. I didn
