Emergency shelter for men, women, families with children, and veterans.

We are a twenty bed facility with a seperate kitchen and day room. We provide temporary shelter, meals to our guests, and case management to assist shelter guests transition from homelessness. We have laundry and shower facilities. We are funded by community donations, church support and government grants. We rely on the gaenerousity of indivuals for much of our operating budget and donations of needed items.

Mission: Assisting displaced families and persons in need with safe, temporary shelter and access to supportive service and work toward helping them achieve economic and social self-sufficiency.

Samaritan Station opened on January 16, 2003. It provides short term emergency housing and other services for men and families with children under the age of 18. The shelter contains a dormitory for single men and individual rooms for families. In addition to providing basic necessities of shelter, food, and a safe place to stay, the following support services are provided:
    Job search and life training skills
    Individual case planning
    Access to computers
    Assistance with replacing birth certificates and social security cards
    A contact address and phone number
We are currently working to open additional locations.

GNA-PATH Mission
Identify chronically homeless individuals or those at risk of becoming homeless with serious mental illness; and connect them with mental health, medical, and substance abuse treatment and housing.
