CCJ - Stagger Straight Community Emergency Shelter

Provides a homeless shelter.

Shelter Hours:
6:00pm to 7:00am.

The Emergency Shelter is open year round to house adult men and women.  This is a safe place to sleep for  clients and a healthy community in which to seek forward movement in personal goals.
They offer daily meaningful activities throughout the week with a variety of focuses including skill sets, seeking employment, housing options, furthering education, recovery meetings, volunteer opportunities, nutrition, and more.

Cost:
$3.00 per night
Small storage space $15 a month.

  1. Absolutely honorable. The staff is caring and they are compassionate towards ending homelessness.

  2. Sad truth; they DO pick favorites. I know one woman gets in every night, while I'm turned away, that's refusal at one hundred percent, indoors at night at fifty percent. Men allowed to drink all day and sleep it off at night ALSO is putting women out on the street. I saw with my own eyes one lady get in 6 nights in a row while I'm turned away constantly, I finally stopped going. Not fair.
