Emergency Food Box Program
Purpose: Provide emergency food boxes to those in need.
Eligibility: Eligibility is established by Oregon Food Bank and USDA. Current guidelines is 185% of poverty level.
Food Share Program
Purpose: To share with other food banks and food service programs the resources of Agape House.
Eligibility: Must be an established food bank, gleaners program, or meal program helping serve the low income population.
Transportation Assistance
Purpose: To help supply bus tickets and gas assistance to the clients of Agape House.
Eligibility: Gas assistance is available to help with transportation to work, medical appointment, or other special needs. Employment and appointments must be verified. Help is subject to available funds and resources.
Wood Heating Assistance
Purpose: Supply wood for those who heat with wood and were unable to establish a supply during the summer or unable to purchase needed wood.
Eligibility: Clients of Agape House who heat with wood and have a valid reason for not being able to purchase or bring in wood are eligible for assistance as long as a supply of wood is available.
Coat Blanket Sleeping bag Assistance
Purpose: Provide coats, blankets, sleeping bags for those in need.
Eligibility: Clients of Agape House or referral from other organizations.
Homeless Shower Assistance $1.00
Purpose: Provide shower facilities for those in need.
Eligibility: Clients of Agape House or referral from other organizations.
