If you are in need of extra food each month to help between paychecks or to augment your food supply, you may qualify for a voucher to receive food from the Food Closet. You may also receive personal care products and dog and cat food when available.
A food voucher enables you to come in once a month for food staples and once a week for bread, milk and eggs. Follow these steps to get help:
1. Call or stop by Social Services to obtain an application for assistance and make an appointment to meet with a Case Manager.
(Phone calls to schedule appointments are recommended).
2. Bring your required documents to your scheduled Social Services appointment.
3. Your case manager will determine your eligibility for services and provide you with a voucher if you qualify.
