St Vincent de Paul - Estancia Valley Catholic Parish

For client assistance, SVdP meets in the parish hall in Moriarty, next to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, every Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Clients are helped with their utilities and other resources.  In addition, SVdP operates a Food Pantry in Estancia from the rectory of Saints Peter and Paul Church every third Friday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

The majority of monies come from the parishioners and twinning is done occasionally between other SVdP Conferences.  Non-perishable foods are donated from the parishioners and are augmented by the Roadrunner Food bank in Albuquerque.

When help is needed, the client calls the parish office at 832-6655.  They are instructed to come to the parish hall in Moriarty on Friday mornings (9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)  Emergency food boxes are located at the office.

This ministry is always in need of volunteers who are committed to Gods work in helping the needy. You can commit your time and talent to this ministry by helping with our Food Pantry, as a board member, or just to attend the monthly meetings which are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Suggestions and ideas in any area are always welcomed.
