FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Originally its own nonprofit entity, Food for Thought came under Rowan Helping Ministries umbrella of services in August of 2017. Utilizing existing resources, we were able to grow the program from 634 children to 769 in its first year. We will serve over 900 students by the end of the 2019 school year with plans to target the 1,100 most critical students at risk of food-insecurity as identified by our partners within the Rowan-Salisbury School System.
