The Walker Food Shelf is a food pantry that provides free food to individuals so that they can maintain their nutritional levels. No guidelines need to be met as the Food Shelf is committed to serve everyone in need in the Walker and surrounding area.
Hours of Operation:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of the month: Open from Noon to 3:00 p.m.4th Tuesday of the month: Open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Please make sure to check, by calling the food pantry, and confirm that they still are in operation and the dates and times have not changed.
Emergency Food Information
If anyone is in need of food outside of the hours of the Food Shelve operation, please contact the Bi-County Community Action Program (Bi-Cap) at 218-547-3438 or 800-332-7135. They are located at 8245 Industrial Park Road NW, Walker, MN (across from the Walker Home Center). The Food Shelf has provided Bi-Cap with a supply of emergency food.
