Tags Volunteers Needed: At the pantry we are also in our first year of having a community garden. Any client who would like to volunteer a couple days a week is able to pick and eat whatever they would like from the garden. Other members of the community, churches, organizations,schools, homeschool groups, businesses, etc that are interested in becoming involved can sign up to help us pack our bags of food for our clients the week before distribution. We pack an average of about 750 bags in about 3 days. Groups can volunteer to come in and pack bags at different times we have set up available for that. Packing times will be listed on our Facebook page each distribution week so people that would like to help can see the times available that best fit their schedule. We distribute that food that is packed to our entire client list on the third Saturday of each month, but we are also available for clients to come fill out apps to get on our client list the listed three days a week.
